around christmas 2005 mike and me visited my parents in a small village near hameln for relaxing and enjoying to be outside the city. we had a good time and made some music. mike played that arpeggio with his quasimidi polymorph. (you can hear the original recording in the middle part of the song). it was the beginning of open state. the sub bass sounds were made when mike touched the tip of a plug, plugged into the mixing desk. he played bass grooves with his finger, it was amazing. i directly had an idea for the feel of the song and composed something around the basic ideas. i worked on the song from time to time over some months. then i asked gregoire to finalize my string ideas.
